Daryl has a very upbeat confident personality and is rarely seen without a smile on his face. He also tends to be quite friendly and hates to see people alone or down and will usually try and go out of his way to cheer someone up if she sees that they are upset. Another quirk to his personality is when he gets nervous he tends to start making silly jokes. Just a little taller and a lot heavier than the average jockey, Daryl has owned Rosemoore for almost 20 years now. He grew up here with his three younger brothers and a younger sister, all of whom moved on to peruse their own careers, his sister however returning. He was married at the age of 25 and his daughter Elizabeth was born when he was born later on in that year. However his wife died in a riding accident a few years later so he became the sole parent. Despite this he is a good father and an excellent business man. He prefers not to compete unless it is in major races where he knows he cannot trust others.

Liz is a loner sometimes, and doesn't like playing second fiddle and is often seen riding by herself. She works hard for what she wants, and won't settle for anything less. She's not spoiled, but wants the best for herself and the horses that she helps trains. Like all Rosemoore's she has a critical and understanding eye and she understands much of horse behaviour and body language, earning her the title of the 'Horse Whisperer' on the stud. With new people she can be shy, though she acts tough and foul-tongued to keep them on a fair distance. In all honesty she fears their opinion of her and her riding at times. She's an only child so hasn't actually learned to share things, making it difficult for her to share the spot/limelight. However she does not enjoy attention when she's not riding or competing or when she's at fault. She is ashamed of her screw-ups and when she's reminded she will get angry at herself. She's hard on herself with training and won't stop until she thinks it's perfect. However she couldn't be more different with horses. She is in charge of breaking many of the yearlings and newer horses in, and her connection with them is not matched by any other. Unlike her father, Liz is not one to steer away from the English style of riding and trains both future race and English discipline champions.

Reserved and out-there at the same time, id's hard to know where you stand with Madeline. She's just a fun character to be around and is a very loveable person. She has this driven and can do attitude, and puts everything into training her horses to the best of their capabilities. She was adopted and not much is known about her birthmother or father. She was just given up for adoption and then her parents names erased mysteriously from the record. However she could care less, and loves her adopted family to death, especially her two brothers, both of whom were adopted as well. 

Rachel Eponine Alexandra Sauvageon

Born in France and an only child Rachel prefers to go by the name Eponine. She has a heavy French accent and often speaks in the language when she is frustrated or angry. She is a beauty and acts like one, and you wouldn't be able to tell what a good rider she was if you saw her on the street. However despite her good skills as a rider she prefers to show horses, particularly the heavy breeds like Shires and Cyldsdales. She shows and grooms the Shires living at Rosemoore and also shows them in harness.
