Tall and slender with wiry muscles Noel is quite a reserved person, seeming cold at first glance. Indeed she is not the easiest to befriend having rather high standards. She is highly critical of herself and others. She does not often voice her opinions, though, preferring to avoid the company of people. She is quite tough, not one for crying or much showing of emotions. She is, however, very close to her little brother Ben. They two of them get on surprisingly well and it is around him that she softens, showing a warmer side of herself. This side is also shown when she is around horses of all kinds. Noel has loved horses since a very young age, joining a local stables as soon as possible and learning how to ride. She grew up in Ireland with a family completely uninterested in horses, but this didn't stop her love from blooming. She always had a interest in training horses, in both racing and English disciplines, and riding in races. So this is what she went into. Noel no longer had much contact with her parents and is in charge of looking after her little brother. Though a wonderful trainer and jockey she is very hard to get close to and friendly with.

However, he is reasonably friendly just not so good at talking. He has a kind heart. He often puts others before himself and is quite easily manipulated into getting him to help you. He can be easily walked over and doesn't even realise when he is getting used. He is, however, a true friend to those that get to know him. He is very close to his older sister, Noel. Ben is not much of a ride, in fact he has only rode a few times in his life. His sister was always the one who was horse mad. But being on bad terms with his parents, having no money and no job has forced him to depend on his older sister. Although he may not be able to ride he can do manual labour, so that is what he is doing. He hopes to learn how to ride while here, though.

Indeed, he is a rather annoying individual. Having been brought up in Scotland as the only son of two very good jockeys, who were rather rich at that, he only settles for the best. He often looks down on other people who were not brought up in an environment like his. He is not the nicest individual, a bit stuck up, but he is not malicious or cruel.

She was not always interested in horses as such (though she could ride reasonably well), but as she proceeded in her veterinary studies she grew more interested in them. As a result she now works here. Maia is quite a stubborn individual, often seen as headstrong and pushy. Indeed she does have a tendency to argue but when she is working she is in her element and will do what is necessary. Though she has a personality which causes her to lean towards being in charge she is not necessarily domineering.
